My name is Ileania Sosa, I was born on August 24th, in La Pintoresca town of La Soledad municipality of Santiago Tuxtla, Veracruz, México. Raised by parents of Mexican origin, my mother played the role of housewife while my father, a passionate farmer, businessman and political activist, left a deep impression on my life from an early age.
Guided by my father, I learned the value of commitment and excellence, adopting his motto “never leave anything half done.”

From my earliest years, a memorable anecdote encouraged me to overcome my fears when I learned to ride a horse. “If you don’t take control of the horse, he will do it for you,” my father’s wise warning resonated in my memory, instilling in me a sense of self-control that would accompany me throughout my life. This early lesson not only forged my determination, but also guided me in my efforts to face challenges with courage and self-confidence.
Despite facing financial obstacles in my youth that prevented me from pursuing my dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher in my homeland, I immigrated to the United States in 2003 with unwavering determination and a suitcase full of dreams. After enrolling in English as a second language classes, it was not until 2016 that I decided to pursue my true passion for school and decided to start studying Early Education, a change that would mark a turning point in my life.]
With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I embarked on an educational journey that included diplomas in positive psychology, business administration, and marketing for entrepreneurs, as well as an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
My love for reading is reflected in my affinity for visionary authors such as Robert Kiyosaki, Paulo Coelho, Miguel Ruiz, Clarissa Pinkola and Robin Sharma, whose works have profoundly influenced my perspective on life and my personal growth.
With deep conviction, I recognize the creator of the universe as the mastermind behind all these inspiring works, I recognize the transcendental importance of knowledge in my spiritual and professional journey.
With a clear vision towards the future, I founded my first family daycare: New Stars Family Daycare in 2017, then in 2019 we founded the second location: Fun for Kids Bilingual Academy in south Milwaukee, and with plans to expand to a third location in 2023 we open the doors to a new facility.
Inspired by my children, my mother and my father’s legacy, I am proud to provide a quality environment for children’s development and promote independence and self-sufficiency in an environment free of social, economic or religious prejudices.
Convinced that change begins with oneself, I advocate for greater empathy and collaboration between parents and teachers to build a better world and foster fundamental values in future generations.
I advocate for equality and equity, and without prejudice. I firmly believe in the need to come together as one community, the time has come to leave barriers behind and work together towards a more inclusive and unified future.
